Here is a List of Smartphones That Support Safaricom’s VoLTE

Safaricom today launched VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and with that, you might be wondering whether you phone supports it. VoLTE allows for crystal clearer voice calls on 4G networks.

This is a step up over regular phone call quality and you might be wondering whether your phone supports it. Well, fortunately, Safaricom already has a list of ‘VoLTE’ ready smartphones that you can use on their 4G network. Here is the list.

If you have any of the smartphones listed above, you will be able to place VoLTE calls on your phone. You have to ensure that you have enabled 4G on your phone and you are in an area with 4G connectivity. The smartphone list also has a good balance between high end phones and more budget smartphones that support VoLTE. Notable misses include iPhones but they may be added into the supported devices list in the future.
